Oddly though, if I was the devs I would have made it so that a character that fled the fight, and returned can not act on the same round. The game is pretty linient with how flee works, and will allow characters to return to combat after regenerating. If the enemy can still attack you with at least one skill, that character can not escape. If you do not have escapist, the rules of fleeing is that you can not be within an enemy's threaten range. You can cover the place in water with rain storms and freeze the water to get some perma-knockdown surfaces.Īlso, do not be afraid to use that flee button. You can charm the magisters into working for you after you deplete their magic armor. You can cheese it hard by doing the escapist round locking. You can hang far back with everyone, and isolate alexander so you can kill him very quickly (he's a joke alone), and then let his minions deal with the void worm. You can waltz on down and chat with alexander while you have a chracter run around and steal ♥♥♥♥ from the magisters pockets. You can set up the entire battlefield to be to your favor before the fight even begins. And the AI is not able to twink items between characters for free like a player can. It plays like a pen and paper Dungeon and Dragons game. Here's a tip, Divinity is not a game that can be easily brute forced. I am seriously wondering how the hell you managed to kill the Voidspawn Deep Dweller with the 4 f*cking skeletons. DOS 1 EE was a cool game, but part 2 belongs in the trash bin. I cant agree to all who say what magnificent game this is - and I play on lowest difficulty! I really regret having bought this game. like the whole game, which lets me run around trying to find the right way, just to confront me with unfair, unbeatable fights, that not only last long, no, I dont win them. the fight is unfair, unbeatable and utter crap.
